The Governor of Niger State, Gov. Mohammed Umaru Bago, has appointed Professor Sulaiman Mohammed Hadi as the new Vice Chancellor of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai.
Professor Hadi, a seasoned academic from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, specializes in Veterinary Anatomy. He was chosen after a thorough selection process and will officially assume office on February 17, 2025.
According to a statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, Professor Hadi was selected based on his academic achievements, leadership skills, and exceptional performance during the screening conducted by the university’s Governing Council.
