McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, has matriculated 984 students for the 2024/2025 academic session to study various courses in the institution.

In a statement by the Deputy Registrar, Information and Public Relations, MacPherson varsity, Olakunle Tokunbo on Wednesday, after it held its 13th matriculation ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francis Igbasan, emphasised the University’s commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and service to society.

In his speech, the Institution’s helmsman highlighted the steady growth of the University, noting that the latest admissions marked an increase in student enrolment across its six colleges which include the Colleges include Law, Computing, Allied Health Sciences, Natural & Applied Sciences, Humanities, Social & Management Sciences, and Postgraduate Studies, alongside the centre for continuing education.

Igbasan commended the students for meeting the Institution’s high admission standards and encouraged them to strive for academic excellence.

The ceremony concluded with an expression of gratitude from Igbasan to parents, guests, and members of the press for their presence. He wished the students success in their academic journey and prayed for their prosperity.

With the 2024/2025 academic session officially underway, McPherson University remains steadfast in its mission to producing graduates who embody excellence, integrity, and service to society
