Registration for the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry (DE) has started and will close on April 7, 2025. The registration fee is ₦5,700, and it can only be done at JAMB’s state and zonal offices.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must have at least five O’level credits (in no more than two sittings) and at least two A-level subjects related to their chosen course. Other acceptable qualifications include:
University Degree
Diploma
HND,
NCEIJMB,
JUPEB,
NABTEB-GCE A’level,
Cambridge A’level
International Baccalaureate (for foreign certificates)
National Registered Nurse/Midwife (NRN/NRM)
All certificates must be verified by the awarding institution before admission.
Registration Process
1. Candidates must use a unique phone number (SIM) for registration.
2. Send an SMS with “NIN [your 11-digit NIN]” to 55019 or 66019 to generate a Profile Code.
3. Purchase the application form from banks or payment platforms using the Profile Code.
4. Take the Profile Code and e-PIN to a JAMB CBT center for registration.
5. Complete biometric verification (fingerprints and photograph).
Important Notes
Candidates must upload their A’level and O’level results during registration.
Statement of results is accepted only if issued within the last three years.Those awaiting results must upload their admission letter and registration template.
UTME candidates awaiting A’level results can upgrade to DE once their results are available.
Cambridge certificate holders (pre-2018) must verify results through Cambridge, which may take up to 28 days.
Candidates should check their admission status regularly on the JAMB portal.JAMB does not allow SIM number changes after profile creation, so candidates must keep their registered number active.
