Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, has declared Monday, February 24, 2025, a public holiday in honor of the inauguration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami.
The announcement, made on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olugbenga E. Ige, ensures that staff and students can fully participate in the state-wide celebrations. The University will be closed on this day, except for essential workers, and normal academic and administrative activities will resume on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
The Vice Chancellor extends his congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Adelami, wishing them a successful tenure.
