The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that there will be no extension to the registration deadline for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This announcement was made by JAMB’s Registrar, Prof. Oloyede, during his monitoring of the registration process at various centers in Lagos.Prof. Oloyede emphasized that an extension is unnecessary, as the registration process is proceeding smoothly, with the Board surpassing its daily registration targets. He further stated that, as of the latest count, over 782,000 candidates have registered, and the Board expects the total number of registrants to reach approximately 2 million by the deadline.
