The Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD), Kano State, received two accreditation teams from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) from January 2 to January 8, 2025, to evaluate fourteen academic programs.
The programs under review include:
National Diploma (ND):
Animal Health and Production Technology, Agricultural Technology, Forestry Technology, Food Technology, and Science Laboratory Technology.
Others are Higher National Diploma (HND):
Animal Production Technology, Animal Health Technology, Crop Production Technology, Forestry Technology, Soil Science and Land Resources Technology, Pest Management Technology, Agribusiness Management, Software and Web Development, and Institutional Administration.
In a plenary session with 25 NBTE resource persons, Prof. M.A. Wailare, the college’s provost, stressed the value of accreditation as a peer-review process that raises the standard of research and instruction.
