The Nasarawa State University, Keffi, is set to expand its academic offerings with the approval of new Postgraduate and undergraduate programs by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Among the postgraduate programs that were approved by the NUC for commencement are; Ph.D. Financial Sector Regulations, Ph.D. Money and Capital Markets, Ph D. Development Finance and M.Sc & Ph.D. Finance.

The NUC also approved the commencement of B. Environmental Health Science, B.A. History and Diplomatic Studies, B.Ed. Early Child Education, and B.Ed. Primary Education Studies.

Journalism and Media Studies, B.Sc. Criminology and Security Studies, B.Sc. Demography and Social Statistics and B.Sc. Statistics and Data Analytics.
The letter further stated that the approval granted for the commencement of the academic programs is as a result of the resource verification visit carried out panels of experts to the mentioned academic programs in NSUK, with a view of assessing the human and material resources available for their establishment.
