
The Federal Government has announced Monday 31 March 2025 and Tuesday 1st April 2025 as Public Holidays to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid-El-Fitri.
In line with the announcement, the University would observe the two days as Public Holidays and resume on Wednesday 2nd April 2025 for the continuation of full Academic and Administrative functions. However, all Staff on essential duties are to remain on their duty posts in compliance with their Shifts and Schedules.
Madam Vice Chancellor Prof (Mrs) Stella Chiemeke and Management hereby congratulate the University Muslim Community on the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and admonishes them to imbibe the virtues of generosity, tolerance, self-discipline, peaceful cohabitation, brotherliness and peace.
Madam Vice Chancellor has also expressed her best wishes for a wonderful celebration and another round of well deserved rest.
