The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has received official approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to introduce new undergraduate programmes.
These courses will be offered under the College of Petroleum Administration and Management starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.
Newly Approved Programmes
The following degree programmes have been introduced:
B.Sc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management
B.Sc. Procurement Management
B.Sc. Petroleum Information Management
B.Sc. Entrepreneurship
NUC Approval and Evaluation
The approval was granted after a thorough assessment by NUC experts, confirming that FUPRE meets all necessary requirements, including adequate facilities and qualified faculty.A formal confirmation was issued in a letter dated February 25, 2025, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor.
Signed by the Executive Secretary of the NUC, the letter states that the new programmes have been approved for full-time study at FUPRE’s main campus.With this approval, students can now apply for these courses starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.
