The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reminded all prospective candidates that the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will officially close on March 8,2025. With only nine days left,candidates who are yet to register are urged to do so immediately to avoid last-minute challenges
No Extension Beyond March 8 JAMB has repeatedly stated that there will be no extension of the registration deadline,as its calendar is fixed and coordinated with other agencies responsible for conducting examinations,processing results,and managing admissions.The board has also expressed concern over the declining number of daily registrations, urging all intending applicants to complete their registration as soon as possible to avoid being lockedout of the process
JAMB has warned candidates against waiting until the final days of registration,as technical issues,crowded registration centers,or incomplete documentation could cause delays. “Candidates should not assume there will be an extension. The registration process is time-bound, andmissing the deadline means waiting for another year,”JAMB emphasized.
