The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) has emphasized that candidates who fail biometric verification on the examination day will not be allowed to sit for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) or its mock version.The 2025 UTME is scheduled to take place from Friday,April 25,2025,to Monday,May 5,2025.In its latest weekly bulletin obtained on Tuesday,February18,2025,JAMB reiterated its strict stance against any form of examination malpractice or data irregularities.Strict Registration and Verification Policies JAMB warned that no parent or proxy would be permitted to transact on behalf of candidates or interfere with the registration process.The board explained that this measure is intended to prevent data mismatches and unauthorized alterations to candidates’records.To further curb registration infractions,JAMB stated that its surveillance systems are fully operational to detect and penalize non-compliant registration.
