
The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted full accreditation to 12 academic programs at both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) levels at Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta (ABCOAD).
In an official letter dated February 14, 2025, the Director of the Monotechnic Programs Department, Sama’ila Tanko, confirmed the approval following a thorough Resource Verification and Accreditation exercise.

The Provost of ABCOAD, Prof. M.A. Wailare, described the accreditation as a major milestone that strengthens the institution’s credibility.
He highlighted that the process reflects ABCOAD’s dedication to academic excellence, quality infrastructure, and a skilled workforce.
He also extended his appreciation to the Kano State Government, led by Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for its financial support during the accreditation process. He further praised the college’s staff, heads of departments, and stakeholders for their collective efforts in securing this achievement.
