The Federal Government plans to make all exams fully computer-based by 2027 to curb malpractice. Certificates will now include national ID numbers, photos, and birthdates to ensure authenticity. Exam bodies like WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB must implement these changes by mid-2027. The Education Minister, Dr. Tunji Alausa, stressed that malpractice involves not just students but also parents, teachers, and supervisors. Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, head of the new committee, thanked the government for their trust.
