This is to bring to the attention of the general public and the university community in particular that an outbreak of cholera has been recorded in kashere town since the past two weeks.
Every member of the community is advised to observe strict hygiene protocols in other to avoid contracting the disease( Watch out for the safety tips to be released soon from the Health services department).
In the interim, Students are strongly advised to rush to the university clinic for any symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting.(Please don’t go to any private or public hospital in kashere or it’s environs, it might be too late.)
The University has put in place mechanisms to provide emergency support to such victims before referral if need be.
