The National Universities Commission (NUC) Accreditation Team has completed its assessment of 18 academic programs at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
The assessed programs included Veterinary Medicine, Geology, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Food Science and Technology.Others were Agriculture, Nutrition and Dietetics, Water Resources Management, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Agriculture and Bioresource Engineering.
At the Exit Meeting, the Vice-Chancellor, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), praised the NUC Team for their dedication and stressed the importance of peer reviews in upholding academic standards. He assured the University’s commitment to addressing all recommendations and fostering collaboration.
The Director of Academic Planning also expressed gratitude to stakeholders and the NUC Team for ensuring a thorough accreditation process for 18 programmes. FUNAAB reaffirmed its dedication to academic excellence and looks forward to the accreditation results.
