Plateau State University, Bokkos, matriculates over 3400 newly admitted students on 19 December, 2024. The school has officially welcomed 3400 newly admitted students into its various programmes, following the administration of oath of allegiance.
The new students were selected from a pool of 5600 applicants during the 2024/2025 Academic process organization by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). They are expected to uphold the university’s mission of teaching, research and community service. The institution has made significant strides since it’s inception, establishing nine faculties and a school of postgraduate studies.
The University management congratulated the new students emphasizing that the university programmes are globally recognized and designed to equip students with relevant skills for the labour market.
The deputy Vice Chancellor Administration, Associate Professor Kezia, who led the exercise, introduced the newly created Career Services Center at PLASU aimed at assisting students become reliable and resourceful in the labour market.
